It\u2019s music that could have been written for the setting of St Martin-in-the-Fields, and it\u2019s hard to imagine performers who are better equipped to explore both its seriousness and its joy. For over five decades, these celebrated ensembles have put the music of Bach at the centre of their shared artistic life.
